Nourish Interactive is a wonderful site that is instilling healthy habits in all its visitors. I recommend visiting their site on a regular basis to get news, information and tips and to have fun while learning!!
Maggie included a list of other books recommended to help children learn about the benefits of eating healthy and I’d recommend checking them all out.
Jamie Oliver, world famous chef, has come to America to start his own Food Revolution. Already proving his success in England, Jamie Oliver is making the world a healthier place one school, one family, one meal at a time.
Have you seen the show? It had Jamie Oliver going to Huntington, West Virginia to visit with an elementary school and cooking them food. He taught them new things like identifying vegetables properly and how delicious eating healthy foods can be.
Even though the television show is over the Food Revolution is just getting started. I know I’m inspired to eat healthier and put more momentum into my food revolution. Check it out:
Thanks for reading and watching,
Sarah Butland
PS: Don’t forget to sign the petition to get your children eating the right ingredients at school.
Jamie Oliver , famous chef, wished, through TED, to Educate every child about food. He stars in Food Revolution and is making efforts to change the American school lunch menu’s to be healthy and remain delicious. He has already met this goal in his country of England and wants to spread his efforts to the rest of the world through USA.
He’s asked for others to tell him about their efforts in creating a Food Revolution and making the world a healthier place so I knew I had to tell him about the Adventures Of Sammy. I have done so in through the following video.
If you like this video and have a YouTube subscription please vote for it and comment. If not, please email Jamie Oliver to tell him what you think of it.
Thanks for watching, thanks for reading and I would appreciate all the support and comments you can offer.
Currently my children’s book helping fight childhood obesity is #77 in Children’s Books – Science, Natures & How It Works – Health – Fiction on Amazon.ca. This is such a specific category that is perfect for the first of the Adventures Of Sammy series that I know it won’t take much to put and keep it #1. It may seem like a small accomplishment but it’ll definitely be a start in the right direction.
Once we get it to appear as #1 in this category we’ll take over another until it’s the #1 in the Children’s Books category!!’
INCREDIBLE: September 16, 2009. SOOOOO Close. Sending You Sammy will be #1 this week, I just know it.
WOW!!! 🙂 August 28th shows Sending You Sammy as #6 in Books > Children’s Books > Science, Nature & How It Works > Health > Fiction and #10 in Books > Children’s Books > Issues > Personal Hygiene
We’re so close! Let’s keep it going and make this #1 in both of these categories before school starts!!
September 03: It’s slipping and it shouldn’t be. With school starting this is a must have in your child’s classroom.
